Cherrie, Age 69
Hello. Who knew 70 would feel so lonely. I’m retired advanced practice nurse, for about two years. Still miss the patients and staff. Recently had a total knee replacement surgery and doing well. Except, it has brought up so many anxieties about aging. I have been crazy active and busy, this seems so alien. One step and one day at a time. Really, I think I’m too stubborn to let this get me down for long.

Appreciate your thoughts I’m out of back surgery
One year Come January left knee replacement
I signed up to have this October in spite of my discomfort I’m waiting
Until January we just moved into the city I want to enjoy this time
Being where I will have access to medical assistance
I.E. Phyical therapy , side walks versus dirt bumpy roads
I know what you mean, Cherrie. I thought my 70’s would be smooth sailing for travel and relaxing. It’s two years since a total hip replacement and I can finally say that I’m back to feeling active and hopeful. Hang in there! The knee replacement will give you a new lease on life after healing and recovery. 🙂
